Briony is a registered psychologist (AHPRA), and holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Briony has a passion for women's health. Work areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationships, sexuality and gender transitions. In 2017, Briony was employed by the Australian Psychological Society to write and deliver a webinar training session on the lived experiences of young people identifying as transgender and gender diverse. Briony is passionate about issues surrounding birth including perinatal depression &anxiety, birth debriefing & trauma, and the challenges and joys of parenting children. Briony works in a warm, nurturing and collaborative way that honours the lived experience of each client. Briony uses evidence-based therapies with a focus on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques. A reduced rate is offered to health care card holders.
