The Coronavirus Pandemic has seen many unprecedented changes unfold around us, especially in light of the current state of affairs in Melbourne. Allied health services are considered an essential service, therefore Bodyline Health is still open for business. However, since your health and safety is our highest priority, we are taking additional steps to protect you.
- OUR WAITING ROOM IS CLOSED
In order to assist with social distancing, our waiting room is closed with the exception of Austin Pathology patients. For this reason, upon arrival patients are asked to call and inform us they have arrived. At this point if your practitioner is ready for you, you will be welcomed in. If they are not yet ready for you, you will be asked to wait in your car where the practitioner will come and collect you. - PATIENT SCREENING PRIOR TO BOOKING
When booking a consultation, patients are taken through a brief screening process. Patients who are unwell, are in close contact with an active case of COVID-19 or have recently been overseas are asked to stay at home. - REGULAR SANITIZATION
Our reception staff are regularly disinfecting door handles, seats, bathrooms and the front desk. Your practitioners are also thoroughly disinfecting treatment rooms between each patient. - HAND SANITIZER
We have installed a contactless hand sanitizer dispenser outside our front door for your use, with our staff sanitizing their hands regularly also. - INSTALLATION OF A SPIT SCREEN
At our reception desk we have installed a spit screen to minimize your face to face contact further. - TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS WHERE POSSIBLE
Where possible, practitioners have been utilizing Telehealth. Our psychologists and speech pathologists are continuing working, offering Telehealth/Zoom consultations. - UTILIZING FACE MASKS
With the new regulations in mind, our staff are wearing face masks for infection control. We also ask that every patient put on their mask prior entering the Bodyline Health Premises.
- CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS WHERE POSSIBLE
Our clinic offers ‘PayPass’ as a contactless method of payment. Where contact is required (such as for Private Health Insurance) our reception staff will be sanitizing the EFTPOS machine and their hands between patients.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us on 9017 4784, our staff will be happy to provide further clarification.
